Mesa’s fully indoor padel club introduces a high-energy weekday program focused on movement, confidence, and connection for ages 6-12.

Summer in Arizona usually comes with one big question: how do you keep kids active when it’s 110 degrees outside? Padel Pals has an answer. The Valley’s first fully indoor padel club is launching its new Summer Camp program, a weekday experience designed to keep kids moving, learning, and socializing inside a fully air-conditioned facility.

Running May 25 through July 3, the camp offers a structured, high-energy alternative to traditional summer routines, blending sport, skill-building, and social play in a setting built specifically for kids. Open to ages 6-12 and all skill levels, the program introduces young players to padel, one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, while emphasizing confidence, teamwork, and fun. Even better, Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) funds are accepted, giving families added flexibility when planning summer activities.

Padel Pals recently opened in Mesa as Arizona’s first fully indoor padel club, featuring seven premium courts inside a 44,000-square-foot facility designed for year-round play. Built with both athletes and families in mind, the space combines professional-level courts with a welcoming, social environment that makes it easy for new players to get started.

“We’ve built Padel Pals to grow the sport from the ground up, and that starts with kids,” says Armando Acevedo, CEO and co-founder of Padel Pals. “Summer camp is an opportunity to introduce a new generation to padel in a way that feels natural, social, and engaging. It’s not just about learning a sport. It’s about creating an environment where kids want to come back, improve, and feel part of something.”

Each weekday session runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with early drop-off available for families who need additional flexibility. The program is designed to balance instruction with play, giving kids the chance to build skills while staying active and connected throughout the summer.

Led by coaches from Pereyra’s Padel Academy, the camp focuses on foundational technique in an approachable, fun setting. Small group sizes allow for personalized attention, helping kids progress at their own pace while building friendships along the way.

At camp, kids are learning, competing, and making friends while building real confidence on the court.”
