White House Flowers + Experiences is entering a new chapter, one shaped by texture, scent, atmosphere and a more intentional approach to event design.
The Phoenix-based floral design and event styling brand was founded in 1995 and has long been rooted in the Biltmore design community. Now, under owner and creative director Kell Bonanno, the studio is expanding its lens beyond traditional floral work into environments that consider the full feeling of a room.
Bonanno brings more than 20 years of experience across floral design, horticulture and architectural environments. Her work is layered and deliberate, pairing natural elements with structure, space and a clear sense of mood.
Her portfolio spans hospitality brands, institutions, philanthropic events, private clients and brand activations, with projects connected to the Sandra Day O’Connor community, Banner Health, Board of Visitors, the Trends Gala, Desert Foundation Auxiliary and the Arizona Humane Society. She has also collaborated with Estée Lauder, Alice + Olivia and PNC Bank, and serves as the exclusive florist for Prime Steak Concepts, including Ocean 44, Steak 44, Durant’s and Dominick’s.
“White House Flowers has built a strong reputation for thoughtful design,” Kell Bonanno says. “My approach has always been rooted in balancing artistry with intention, considering not just how something looks, but how it feels. Every element, from color and texture to space and scent, plays a role in shaping an experience. I’m excited to build on my design philosophy, grounded in integrity, to create environments that feel personal, refined and lasting.”
Currently residing in Scottsdale, Bonanno has led ventures across the United States and Canada, including luxury floral and horticulture installations, event design and residential and commercial environments. Before establishing her presence in Arizona, she built a bi-national client base through a referral-driven network, with work that grew organically across both markets.
Under her leadership, White House Flowers + Experiences is placing more emphasis on immersive, design-driven environments. Flowers remain the foundation, but the studio is also looking at the quieter details that shape an experience, from scent and texture to styling and spatial design.
The studio will continue its work in weddings and events while adding floral subscription services, curated gifting and fully immersive event experiences for private clients and brand partners.
Bonanno also leads a carefully curated team that helps carry out the studio’s client experience. The group works alongside her with a shared focus on thoughtful service, attention to detail and design that feels personal rather than formulaic.
As Phoenix’s event scene continues to evolve, White House Flowers + Experiences is finding its place in the shift toward gatherings that feel more layered, intimate and considered. The flowers are still the anchor, but the lasting impression comes from the way the whole room comes together.
