Valentine’s Day in the Valley is getting loud, shiny, and very well dressed. This Saturday, Feb. 14, Concours in the Hills roars back into Fountain Park for its 12th year, serving up breathtaking machines and big-time heart in one of Arizona’s most beloved outdoor showcases.
Dubbed the “Greatest Car Show on Grass,” this free, family-friendly favorite turns Fountain Hills into a rolling museum of rare cars, motorcycles, helicopters, and military vehicles. The payoff goes far beyond eye candy. Every dollar raised supports Phoenix Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and the Cardiothoracic Surgery Support Fund, making this a show that looks good and does good.
The lineup reads like a dream garage. Domestics, imports, race cars, limited-edition exotics, off-road beasts, and motorcycles fill the park, joined overhead by helicopters ranging from polished civilian models to a rare Black Hawk military helicopter. Expect legendary names like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren, Corvette, Ford GT, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and more, all brought together by top car clubs and dealerships. Many of these vehicles are worth millions, and a few tip the scale well past the $10 million mark.
Behind it all is founder Peter Volny, a lifelong car enthusiast and childhood cancer survivor who turned his passion for speed into a powerful force for good. What started with 220 cars and 3,000 spectators has grown into a Valley heavyweight. Last year drew an estimated 50,000 spectators, 1,200 vehicles, and more than 100 vendor and sponsor booths. Best of all, admission and parking are completely free, because great causes should come without barriers.
