Inside Urban Fraîche Lifestyle, the journey from an Egyptian papyrus to a hand-carved cabinet, a strand of artisan jewelry, or a quiet corner filled with plants can take only a few steps.
Spanning more than 10,000 square feet at 1016 E. Camelback Road in Phoenix, the lifestyle center is part global marketplace, part design destination, and part retreat. Furniture, art, antiques, jewelry, plants, natural goods, and beauty and wellness services fill the sprawling space. Also inside, collectibles representing more than 50 countries give visitors the feeling of traveling the world without leaving Camelback Road. Soon, there will be a place to stop and savor it.
Urban Fraîche Lifestyle is continuing to expand with a café and bistro expected to open on October 1. Envisioned as a natural extension of the center, the café will offer teas, wellness-focused juice shots, natural remedies, and thoughtfully prepared food and beverages. Alcoholic beverage service is also planned as early as September 2026, pending licensing.
“You can come in looking for one thing and discover an entirely different world,” owner Dean Waziry says. “That sense of discovery is important to me. I want people to feel welcomed, respected, and inspired, but I also want them to see something they have never seen before.”
Urban Fraîche Lifestyle grew from Waziry’s desire to help people live better, a philosophy that is intentionally broad. Here, wellness is not confined to a treatment room or a particular product. It can be found in the objects people choose for their homes, the art that moves them, the plants they care for, the rituals that help them slow down, and the conversations that happen along the way.
Over the past year and a half, the center has continued to evolve around that idea. Its inventory ranges from accessible souvenirs and everyday home goods to rare antiques, original artwork, statement furniture, and collectible pieces. Some items are sourced internationally, others come from high-quality local and U.S. manufacturers, and select furniture, artwork, and vintage-inspired pieces are made, restored, or customized by the Urban Fraîche team.
“I never wanted it to feel like a store where everything came from the same catalog,” Waziry says. “Every piece should have character, craftsmanship, or a story. It may come from another part of the world, from a maker here in the United States, or from our own workshop, but it has to feel meaningful.”
That mix gives the center its rhythm. Museum-worthy pieces sit near finds meant for everyday life. Old-world craftsmanship meets contemporary design. Natural materials, fragrant oils, garden greenery, artwork, and one-of-a-kind objects invite visitors to linger rather than move quickly toward a register.
The Urban Fraîche Lifestyle experience includes:

The forthcoming café will add another sensory layer to the center while creating a bridge to Waziry’s nearby Urban Fraîche restaurant. Located at 111 E. Camelback Road, the restaurant is known for clean Mediterranean cooking, daily-changing menus, carefully sourced ingredients, Egyptian hospitality, and an atmosphere that treats dinner as something worth celebrating.
Waziry sees the restaurant and lifestyle center as two expressions of the same idea. One begins with what people eat and how they gather. The other considers what they bring into their homes, how they care for themselves, and what they choose to live alongside.
“The food is where many people first meet Urban Fraîche, but living well does not begin and end with a meal,” Waziry says. “It includes the spaces we create, the objects we value, the way we care for our bodies, and the way we treat one another. The lifestyle center gives us room to bring all of that together.”
That connection will become more tangible when the café opens. Visitors will be able to browse, sit down with a thoughtfully prepared drink, continue a conversation, or simply take in the surroundings. The goal is not to prescribe a single version of wellness, but to make a better life feel a little more inviting and within reach.
“There is no single product or decision that changes everything,” Waziry says. “Sometimes living better begins with a beautiful piece of art, a plant, a cup of tea, or an object that makes your home feel more like you. We want to give people a place where those small discoveries can happen.”
