Insider Info

Mother’s Grace shows up when life takes an unexpected turn, stepping in during moments like illness, loss, or emergency with immediate, personalized support. From rent and medical bills to meals, transportation, and even funeral costs, the help is tailored and fast. Support is nomination-based, meaning someone must advocate for the mom in need. The goal is simple: be a steady bridge that helps families stabilize and move forward.

In the lead-up to Mother’s Day, Prada Scottsdale is turning celebration into impact with an exclusive shopping event benefiting the Arizona-based nonprofit Mother’s Grace. Taking place Friday, April 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the experience invites guests to shop with intention, with a portion of proceeds directly supporting mothers and families navigating crises.

Working alongside more than 33 partner organizations worldwide, Mother’s Grace has supported over 3,000 families, built prenatal care and housing facilities in Arizona, India, and Africa, and extended its reach to families across 20 states, all while keeping 85 percent of its funding local to Arizona. Through this work, the organization provides both immediate financial relief and long-term support, helping mothers facing unexpected hardship regain stability and move forward with dignity.

Set within one of Scottsdale’s premier retail destinations, the event blends elevated style with meaningful impact, offering guests a thoughtful way to give back through every purchase.

Event details:

“This time of year is about celebrating moms, including showing up for the ones who need it most,” said Michelle Moore, founder of Mother’s Grace. “There are so many mothers quietly carrying more than they should have to, and something as simple as a purchase at an event like this can truly change a family’s path in a meaningful way.”

The Prada event is part of a larger Mother’s Day campaign from Mother’s Grace, which includes additional opportunities for the community to get involved. A second shopping event with Veronica Beard will take place Thursday, April 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Veronica Beard Scottsdale Quarter, where 15 percent of event proceeds will be donated to Mother’s Grace. Guests can RSVP to scottsdalersvp@veronicabeard.com for details.

Together with the organization’s WIND program, which grants wishes that provide support for a mother’s Wish, Inspiration, Need, or Debt, these initiatives create multiple ways for individuals to give back during a season centered on honoring mothers.

For those who can’t attend, there are still plenty of ways to support the mission. Mother’s Grace welcomes community involvement year-round through donations, volunteer efforts, and local partnerships that keep its programs thriving.

How to support Mother’s Grace year-round:

  • Donate: Fund direct grants, relief programs, and resources for mothers in crisis.
  • Volunteer: Offer time or expertise to help local families rebuild stability.
  • Engage: Attend events or host your own community initiative.
  • Spread the word: Share the mission on social media or through email.

Mother’s Grace has spent more than a decade empowering women to move from crisis to confidence, one act of kindness, one community partner, and one mother at a time. This Mother’s Day season, through partnerships like Prada Scottsdale and Veronica Beard, that mission continues to grow, proving that the most meaningful gifts are the ones that give back.
