Insider Info

Art lovers get ready, Il Bracco's dining room will double as a mini art gallery, featuring more than $100,000 worth of artwork from the Quick family’s personal collection.

A Dallas dining darling is officially making its Scottsdale debut, and yes, it arrives with a bit of buzz.

Il Bracco, the polished Italian concept from Western Addition Restaurant Group, will open its first Arizona location on March 30 at 6160 N. Scottsdale Road. The restaurant marks the brand’s first expansion outside of Texas, where it built a loyal following in Dallas before expanding to Houston and becoming one of the city’s most coveted dinner reservations.

“Expanding to Scottsdale marks a major milestone for us. il Bracco was our first concept and taking it beyond our home state is both a proud and momentous step,” CEO Robert Quick says.

Quick adds that the Valley’s dynamic dining scene made Scottsdale a natural choice for the brand’s next chapter.

The Scottsdale restaurant spans roughly 5,000 square feet and includes a 950-square-foot patio designed for al fresco dining, according to the company. The space was designed by Western Addition Restaurant Group’s VP of Architecture Kelly Wallace and VP of Design Mary Lucille Quick, along with MMaison Interiors and Brick & West Design, blending warm textures, polished finishes and an effortlessly chic Mediterranean sensibility.

On the menu, expect the Italian comfort dishes that helped build the brand’s cult following. House-made pastas, fresh seafood and prime steaks butchered in-house anchor the lineup, with standouts like Spicy Gemelli in vodka sauce, crispy baby artichokes and Mediterranean sea bass. Italian wines and craft cocktails round out the experience.

The restaurant will seat about 165 guests and includes a fireplace patio designed to anchor the outdoor dining scene.
