Phoenix Girls Built the Thrift Market Everyone Wants In On

Insider Info

Rodeo Rose is far from a typical thrift pop-up. Alongside racks of vintage fashion, shoppers can stumble into tattoo artists, piercings, hat bars, handmade jewelry, matcha and mocktail stands, photo booths, and rotating creative vendors that turn each market into part shopping spree, part social hangout.

A TikTok. A thrift swap idea. And one 22-year-old who decided to build the kind of community she wanted to be part of.

That’s the origin story behind Rodeo Rose Market, Arizona’s only all-girls thrift and vendor market, which has quickly become one of the most exciting grassroots shopping events in the Valley. Founded by Phoenix creative Trinity Roraback, Rodeo Rose began when she posted a TikTok inviting girls to swap vintage clothes. The video went viral. Instead of letting the moment pass, Roraback turned the idea into a real-life market celebrating women entrepreneurs, vintage fashion, and the kind of community that doesn’t exist through a phone screen.

Less than a year later, the market has exploded into a bi-monthly Phoenix event featuring more than 120 women-led brands and drawing over 4,000 attendees each month. Think vintage racks, handmade jewelry, baked goods, florals, tattoos, beauty brands, and a steady flow of young creatives building businesses of their own.

Rodeo Rose isn’t just a market. It’s becoming what many young people have been missing: a modern “second space” where they can gather, shop, create, and support each other in person. Roraback has built more than an event. She’s created a platform that amplifies women-owned businesses while hiring young creatives, partnering with local venues, and growing a fast-rising digital presence that recently passed 12,000 Instagram followers.

Now the viral market is gearing up for its biggest moment yet.

On Sunday, March 29, Rodeo Rose will celebrate its one-year anniversary with its largest market to date at The Croft Downtown in Phoenix. More than 100 women-owned vendors will take over the space from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering curated thrift fashion, boutique clothing, handmade goods, jewelry, beauty products, florals, and décor.

And yes, the vibes are very much part of the draw.

Shoppers can sip coffee, matcha, or the Valley’s beloved dirty sodas while browsing racks of vintage denim and handmade accessories. Food trucks and locally baked treats keep the energy high while live music sets the tone for the afternoon. Guests can also explore interactive experiences including tattoos, piercings, and a photo booth, because this isn’t your average vendor market. It’s a full-blown social event.

The anniversary celebration will also debut the all-new Rodeo Rose Passport, a personalized scavenger hunt-style experience designed to help guests explore vendors and unlock special perks along the way. Expect anniversary gifts from vendors and exciting collaborations with Valley-favorite businesses as the market celebrates its first year.

And Rodeo Rose is just getting warmed up.

The market will return to The Croft Downtown on May 10 for a special Mother’s Day Market, spotlighting 75+ women-owned businesses and offering the perfect excuse to shop for mom while supporting Arizona entrepreneurs. Guests can browse curated thrift, boutique clothing, handmade goods, and unique gifts while enjoying coffee, matcha, dirty sodas, food trucks, baked treats, live music, tattoos, piercings, and a photo booth.

It’s part shopping trip, part social hangout, and entirely powered by women building businesses and cheering each other on.

Not bad for an idea that started with a single TikTok.
