Yates Mitsubishi is turning its arrival in the West Valley into a full-scale celebration, with a multi-day grand opening series in May that blends a formal ribbon-cutting with a high-energy, community-focused event designed to give back.
The festivities begin May 6 at 9 a.m. with an official ceremonial grand opening at 13725 W. Test Drive in Goodyear, where city officials and Mitsubishi representatives will join Dealer Principal Whitney Yates-Woods for a ribbon-cutting. The milestone builds on more than 40 years of automotive experience from the Yates family, now expanding in the West Valley.

The celebration continues May 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a larger, community-wide grand opening event, transforming the dealership into an interactive destination for families, local residents and car shoppers alike. From giveaways and entertainment to on-site experiences, the event is designed to feel less like a dealership visit and more like a neighborhood gathering.
At the center of the public event is the dealership’s “Test Drive for a Cause” initiative, where Yates Mitsubishi will donate $20 for every test drive completed May 9-10. Proceeds will benefit the West Valley Mavericks Foundation, which supports organizations across the region including A New Leaf, Agua Fria Food & Clothing Bank, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Homeless Youth Connection, Fighter Country Foundation, Phoenix Rescue Mission, Cancer Support Community Arizona, Boys & Girls Clubs, Make-A-Wish and more.
