Arizona knows how to turn a simple outing into a full-blown group moment, and Arizona Party Bike has been proving that one pedal-powered celebration at a time.
Anyone who has spent a night in Old Town Scottsdale has probably seen it: a brightly colored, music-filled party bike rolling through the streets while a crew of friends laughs, sings, sips, and makes the kind of memories that do not need a complicated itinerary. From bachelorette and bachelor parties to birthdays, team outings, and casual nights that somehow become legendary, Arizona Party Bike has become a go-to for Valley celebrations with built-in energy.
The beauty is in the ease. Guests show up, hop on, and let the experience do the heavy lifting. There is music, drinks, a hosted ride, and a social atmosphere that makes it feel less like transportation and more like the party itself.
Now, the celebration has floated onto the water.
Earlier this year, the company launched Tempe Boat Cruisin’, bringing Tempe Town Lake its first cycleboat experience. Think Arizona Party Bike energy, but with skyline views, open-air cruising, and a breezy lake backdrop. It is the same group-forward concept, just traded from Scottsdale streets to Tempe water.
The cycleboat is powered by a smooth, quiet electric motor, which means pedaling is fully optional. Guests can settle into shaded seating, bring their beverages, queue up a playlist, sing karaoke, and take in panoramic views while a professional two-person crew handles the ride. The vibe is equal parts party and escape: social, scenic, and refreshingly low-effort.
And because Arizona apparently refuses to keep its best parties in one lane, the fun is not stopping at the dock.
This summer, Arizona Party Bike is teaming up with Hotel Solaya to bring back the Pool Party Bike Crawl, an experience made for sipping, swimming, and celebrating with friends. Each ride wraps at the newly renovated Hotel Solaya, where guests can cool down with a complimentary round of poolside drinks, enjoy live music, and settle into a luxe poolside scene.
On the water, Tempe Boat Cruisin’ is expanding with new social cruises, allowing guests to purchase individual tickets instead of renting the entire boat. The company has introduced themed packages for graduation and Father’s Day, with more themed cruises planned throughout the summer. Guests can choose between brunch or sunset sailings and enjoy the lake alongside other families, music, views, and an easygoing shared experience.

“What makes Arizona Party Bike and Tempe Boat Cruisin’ special is that they bring people together in a way that feels uniquely Arizona: social, scenic, and easy to enjoy,” Robert Mayer, owner and founder of both Arizona Party Bike and Tempe Boat Cruisin’, says. “Whether guests are pedaling through Old Town Scottsdale with music and friends or cruising Tempe Town Lake with karaoke and sunset views, both experiences are designed to turn a group outing into shared, lasting memories.”
“We love giving locals and visitors a fun, approachable way to celebrate, see our cities in a new way, and connect with each other,” Mayer says.
On land or water, Arizona Party Bike and Tempe Boat Cruisin’ are making the Valley feel a little more festive, one ride at a time.
