Insider Info

Emily’s leadership style was shaped early—at just 15, she entered a male-dominated industry where she learned that respect is earned through consistency, accountability and results. That foundation continues to define her approach today: disciplined, direct and focused on delivering at a high level.

Ganem Companies has a new president, and the move is less about a title swap and more about a next-era power play.

The Phoenix-based construction firm has named Emily Ganem as President, stepping her up from Executive Vice President as the company sharpens its focus on growth, operations and the kind of disciplined execution that keeps major projects moving without losing the human part of the build.

For a company known across Arizona for commercial, industrial, storage, hospitality, restaurant and tenant improvement projects, the transition signals a clear message: Ganem Companies is building for scale, but not at the expense of what it calls the Ganem Difference.

“Stepping into the role of president is both a responsibility and an opportunity. As a woman in an industry that continues to progress, I’m proud to lead with clarity, discipline and intention,” Emily Ganem says. “Our focus is strengthening how we operate so we can deliver exceptional projects more efficiently, without losing the values, relationships and quality that define the Ganem Difference. A key priority for me is ensuring our Project Delivery Team, spanning pre-construction, project management and the field, continues operating as one highly collaborative unit aligned around a single goal: delivering exceptional projects for our clients.”

Translation: tighter systems, stronger teams, fewer silos and better builds.

The leadership shift also brings Parker Ganem, CEO of Ganem Companies, and Mick Marden, the firm’s former President and current Chief Visionary Officer, into board roles. The move gives the executive team more room to focus on day-to-day execution while keeping the company’s long-term vision close to the table.

Emily’s rise has been years in the making. She has expanded her leadership across departments, team development and organizational strategy while working closely with Marden through ongoing mentorship. That progression gave her a front-row seat to both the company’s ambitions and the operational muscle needed to support them.

“It has been an honor to serve as president during a time when Ganem implemented the systems, processes and structure necessary to support the level of growth we were experiencing,” Marden says. “Emily has consistently demonstrated the clarity, leadership and strategic perspective needed for this role. She understands how to empower a strong team while maintaining the discipline required to scale an organization responsibly. I fully support her leadership and look forward to continuing to contribute to the company from the board level.”

Founded by Parker Ganem in 2000, Ganem Companies has grown into a trusted Arizona construction partner offering preconstruction, construction management, construction management at risk and design-build services. Its portfolio spans the practical, the polished and the high-traffic, from industrial and storage projects to restaurant, hospitality and commercial spaces throughout Arizona.

For Parker Ganem, the transition is about longevity as much as momentum.

“This transition allows us to do what we do best,” Parker Ganem says. “Emily’s leadership, discipline and discernment of vision give our team the confidence and structure needed as we continue to grow. I’m incredibly proud of how she has stepped into this role and grateful for Mick’s leadership in helping build the foundation that makes this next phase possible. This transition positions Ganem Companies for longevity, not just growth.”

The company is also widening its leadership bench, with an expanded role for Keith Doyle and the addition of Connor Bramel to the executive team. It is a move that points to a bigger internal blueprint: invest in leadership, protect the culture and keep the machine running with purpose.

In a construction world where growth can get messy fast, Ganem Companies is betting on structure, collaboration and a president who knows exactly where the beams need to go.
