Arrowhead Towne Center is not easing into summer. It is strutting in with new jewelry, fresh remodels, bigger stores, and enough retail momentum to make Valley shoppers clear space in their calendars.
The Glendale shopping destination is rolling out a new wave of additions and expansions, led by gorjana, the Southern California-inspired jewelry brand known for effortless, everyday pieces made for layering. Construction begins this month, with the brand making its West Valley debut at Arrowhead Towne Center this fall.
Founded by ASU graduates Gorjana Reidel and Jason Griffin Reidel, gorjana brings a little Laguna Beach polish to the desert. The brand launched in 2004 and has built its world around laid-back, layer-friendly jewelry with an easy California point of view.
The new boutique will reflect that same relaxed-luxe energy, with personalized styling sessions from in-store experts who can help shoppers build the kind of layered look that says, “Oh, this old thing?” while absolutely meaning business.
“Gorjana is the latest example of premium retail brands who are gravitating toward the energy and momentum across the West Valley,” says Gabrielle Ochoa, General Manager for Arrowhead Towne Center. “These new retailers are seeking proven partners like Arrowhead Towne Center as they enter the market, while several of our existing tenants have significant projects underway that reinforce the center’s continued appeal for major brands and shoppers alike.”
And gorjana is not arriving alone.
Victoria’s Secret and PINK are preparing to reveal significant remodel projects, while American Eagle is expected to unveil its own refreshed store concept this summer. These are not quiet little touch-ups. They are the kind of reinvestments that show longtime retailers still see Arrowhead Towne Center as prime shopping real estate.
“These legacy tenants have experienced long-term top-performing success at the center,” Ochoa says. “They’ve seen their shoppers spending here and are rewarding that loyalty by sharing flagship concepts and expanded selections of their most in-demand products. The strength of this market area, including more residents inclined toward more discretionary spending, makes it a smart place for retailers to invest and grow.”
Aerie is also making a bigger move. The brand is doubling its presence with the addition of a dedicated OFFLINE by Aerie store. Aerie will remain open in a temporary space through the summer before reopening in a larger location this fall, timed with the completion of the new OFFLINE store.
The lineup keeps going. Earthbound Trading Company also just opened, bringing clothing, accessories, and gifts for free spirits, curious souls, and adventurous nomads who know a mall trip can absolutely include a little personality. Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen also opened in the Food Court in May, adding fried chicken and Southern staples to the fast dining mix.
The latest wave builds on a run of new arrivals at the center. Earlier this year, Foot Locker Kids and Perfumania opened new stores. In 2025, Arrowhead Towne Center welcomed nine new retail brands, including Kendra Scott and Fabletics as exclusive West Valley locations for the center, along with James Avery’s first Arizona store. Hot Topic doubled its footprint with a newly renovated flagship store, the largest in Arizona, and Pickleman’s Gourmet Café made its Arizona debut just before the holidays.
The momentum also follows 2024 updates, including Shoe Palace’s expansion, a Build-A-Bear remodel, the opening of Sizzle Korean BBQ, and Garage becoming another West Valley exclusive for the center.
Arrowhead Towne Center already anchors the Glendale shopping scene with more than 180 stores for the whole family, including major retail, dining, and entertainment names across fashion, beauty, food, and lifestyle. Now, with fresh national brands, updated concepts, and West Valley exclusives, the center is making a very clear point: the mall moment is alive, well, and apparently wearing better jewelry.
