Dirtbag’s Phoenix is heading into summer with a menu built for the way people actually use a bar when the game is on: wings on the table, pitchers within reach, pizza for the group and enough shareable food to keep the night going.
Fresh off a remodel that brought in a new entrance, indoor Jumbotron, more TVs and an updated private room, the Tucson-born bar is leaning into food and drink packages built for game days, groups and late nights. The summer lineup brings together Dirtbag’s staples and ready-made combos designed for fans settling in for a matchup, groups taking over the private room or friends stopping by for a late-night bite.
“People come to Dirtbag’s to watch games, hang out and not overthink the order,” says Scott Hibler, owner of Dirtbag’s Phoenix. “This menu is about making that easier. You can get wings, pizza, pitchers and the kind of food everyone at the table wants to share.”
The menu keeps the Dirtbag’s classics firmly in play, from fried zucchini and chicken nachos to burgers, wings, tots, fries and onion rings. New game-day packages pair the bar’s most popular food and drink items into easy combos, including the Dirtbags Gameday Combo with pepperoni pizza, a full order of wings and a domestic pitcher; Double Down with two domestic pitchers and two full orders of wings; Wings & Beer with a domestic pitcher and full order of wings; and the Wild Cat Combo with a domestic pitcher, wings and mozzarella sticks.
“The staples are staples for a reason,” Hibler says. “People love the wings because they are big, meaty and made for sharing. Pizza has also become a huge game-day item for us, so building packages around those favorites just made sense.”
Dirtbag’s Phoenix summer menu includes:
- Gameday Packages: Designed for sharing, the new packages combine wings, pizza, mozzarella sticks and domestic pitchers to make ordering easier for groups. Options include the Dirtbags Gameday Combo, Double Down, Wings & Beer and Wild Cat Combo.
- Wings: A full order of 10 wings is available in mild buffalo, spicy buffalo, chili lime, hot honey and BBQ. The wings have quickly become one of the Phoenix location’s most popular items.
- Game Day Pizza: The 12-inch pizza lineup includes cheese, pepperoni and pepperoni-jalapeño with hot honey drizzle, giving groups an easy centerpiece for the table.
- Apps and Shareables: The menu leans into classic bar snacks, including pretzel bites with nacho cheese, chicken nachos, mozzarella sticks, chicken strips and fries, chips and salsa, spinach and artichoke dip and fried zucchini.
- Burgers and Sandwiches: Guests can order the Famous Dirt Burger, Big Tex Burger with hatch green chiles and BBQ sauce, English Burger with cheddar cheese and bacon, or a grilled chicken sandwich. All sandwiches are served with lettuce, tomato, onion and fries.
- Sides: The lineup rounds out the table with the essentials: crispy fries, golden tots and onion rings made for sharing, snacking and soaking up one more round.
- Cold Drinks: The drink menu includes beers on tap, bottles and cans, pitchers, buckets, wine, shots and $5 Jell-O shots, with domestic, import, craft and seltzer options built for group ordering.
The menu leans into the kind of food Dirtbag’s does best: wings, pizza, burgers, cold drinks and shareables that can land in the middle of the table while everyone keeps one eye on the game. “Football season is a big part of what we do, so we wanted the summer menu to feel easy, fun and ready for groups,” Hibler says. “People come in for wings, pizza, pitchers and a place to watch the game with their friends. We’re leaning into that and adding a few more things that make the experience even better.”
