Insider Info

Padel Pals is serving up more than competition Aug. 15-16. The USA Padel 250 gives Arizona businesses a courtside chance to meet new customers, boost their visibility and get in early on one of the world’s fastest-growing sports.

Arizona businesses have helped turn emerging sports into thriving communities. Now, Padel Pals is inviting them to get in early on what could be next.

The Mesa-based club is seeking local and regional sponsors for the USA Padel 250 Padel Pals Tournament, taking place Aug. 15-16, 2026, at its fully indoor facility. Part of the official USA Padel Tour, the event will bring players from across Arizona and beyond to compete for national ranking points.

For sponsors, the opportunity extends well beyond logo placement. Businesses can meet potential customers, showcase products, host activations and connect directly with an active, social audience in a lively tournament setting.

The timing is hard to ignore. More than 35 million people play padel worldwide, with roughly 77,300 courts across more than 150 countries and territories. In the United States, USA Padel reported 104 sanctioned open tournaments last year, more than double the number held in 2024.

“This is a rare chance for businesses to get involved while the sport is still taking shape in Arizona,” says Armando Acevedo, CEO and co-founder of Padel Pals. “Their support will be visible, memorable and connected to the growth of the community.”

Padel’s compact courts keep spectators close to the action, creating natural opportunities for sponsors to engage with athletes, families, professionals and sports fans throughout the weekend. The tournament is expected to attract hundreds of attendees and is a strong fit for businesses in health and wellness, food and beverage, apparel, automotive, real estate, finance, hospitality, travel and lifestyle services.

Padel Pals is also offering customized activations and year-round court branding for companies seeking a larger or longer-term presence at the club. “We want sponsors to see real value through visibility, relationships and community connection,” Acevedo says.

The USA Padel 250 will feature men’s and women’s D1 through D4 divisions. Entry is $65 per player and guarantees at least two matches. Winners will receive prizes, and all players will receive a tournament T-shirt and raffle entry. Registration closes Aug. 6 at 11:59 p.m. Padel Pals co-founder Carlos Pereyra will serve as tournament director.

The tournament supports Padel Pals’ larger goal of establishing Mesa and the East Valley as destinations for competitive padel and year-round play. The 44,000-square-foot club features seven climate-controlled courts, a bar and lounge, co-working areas, and dedicated space for sponsor activations and hospitality.

“We have the players, the facility and the momentum,” Acevedo says. “Now we need local businesses that want to be part of what comes next.”
