Hilton Phoenix Resort at The Peak is dialing up the desert downtime with Spa & Fitness at The Peak, a new 25,000-square-foot wellness destination designed for everything from serious sweating to unapologetic lounging.
Scheduled to open in mid-September, the new space brings a full spa, fitness center and adults-only outdoor oasis together at the landmark Phoenix resort, with the Phoenix Mountain Preserve and Piestewa Peak serving as the backdrop.
“Exceptional hospitality is about creating unforgettable experiences that feel truly authentic, and this new spa and fitness destination embodies that philosophy as part of our property’s latest evolution,” says Julia Najafi, Pivotal Group Vice President & Principal. “We’ve designed a one-of-a-kind new venue where guests and locals alike are encouraged to relax, recharge, and thrive through unique experiences reflecting the spirit and aspirations of our environment and community.”
The spa side comes ready for a proper reset. Nine treatment rooms will offer signature massages, body treatments, facials and personalized skincare experiences, while a relaxation lounge, eucalyptus steam room and sauna handle the before-and-after glow. A boutique retail space will also stock a curated mix of premium spa products and distinctive gifts.
Then there is the vitality garden, where guests can toggle between a heated jacuzzi and cold plunge depending on whether the mood calls for cozy or character-building.
Outside, the resort is giving adults their own escape with a resort-style pool overlooking the Phoenix Mountain Preserve and Piestewa Peak, eight semi-private cabanas, a separate hot tub, tranquil garden retreat, bar and lounge. Poolside dining keeps things light with seasonal salads, fresh juices, specialty teas, handcrafted cocktails and other bites built for a long afternoon in resort mode.
“Whether you’re planning a solo retreat, a romantic escape, a girlfriends’ getaway, a bachelor or bachelorette party, or celebrating a special milestone, our spa offers the perfect setting,” says Mary M. Kelly, Director of Spa and Retail Experiences.
The broader concept is built around personalized self-care, with mindful programming, a curated activity calendar and a seasonal menu of customized treatments designed to support guests through different stages of their wellness journey.
“Every aspect of the guest experience was thoughtfully designed to honor the distinctive ecosystem of the Sonoran Desert,” says Lorraine Park, VP of Wellness & Spa Experiences at Crescent Hotels & Resorts. “Drawing from generations of spiritual wisdom and modern scientific understanding, we created a destination that feels both authentic and deeply grounded in vitality, mindfulness, and stillness.”
For a resort already known for River Ranch Water Park, two-room suites, The Living Room lobby bar and more than 60,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, the new spa and fitness destination adds a decidedly grown-up reason to stay awhile. The resort sits at the base of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve and is positioned near both Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and downtown Phoenix.
